  • 2 February – Footballer Obed Vargas signs with La Liga club Atlético Madrid on a four-and-a-half-year contract with Atlético paying $3 million dollars for Vargas.[14]
  • 5 February –
    • A health alert is declared in Jalisco due to a measles outbreak in Guadalajara.[15]
    • Tequila mayor Diego Rivera Navarro (Morena party) is arrested by Jalisco state police over accusations of extortion, drug trafficking and accepting bribes from the CJNG cartel.[16]
